Combining
sculptural processes with research on biotechnology and the hybrid form, a dreamt-of theory that data could be transferred onto the DNA of vegetables was turned
into a multifaceted technological installation. The viewer is invited to move
through and explore the work; a cross between an unmanned stage set, a
laboratory and a garden plot.
The installation is seen (above) at Cupar arts Festival, Fife, during October 2011, and (below) at Umbrella Artspace, Leeds, in December 2010.
